Albert Lee is an English guitar player who has been recognized by Guitar Player magazine as one of the world’s finest guitar players. Known for his signature finger-picking guitar style, this Grammy winner has played with many musical luminaries, including EmmyLou Harris, Rodney Crowell, The Crickets, and Eric Clapton. He replaced James Burton in EmmyLou Harris’ Hot Band when Burton went on to play with Elvis Presley. He worked with Clapton for five years, appearing at Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in 2007. Clapton also contributed the Foreward to Albert’s biography, “Country Boy; a Biography of Albert Lee,” written by Derek Watts.
Opening the show for Albert Lee is comedian Jason Love. Jason has performed standup at venues the world over, including the Improv, Laugh Factory, and the Comedy Store, Louie LOL and the Brad Garrett Comedy Club. Jason has performed for Coca-Cola, Farmers Insurance, MTV, General Motors, and the L.A. Dodgers.
We expect this show to sell out. Walk-ups are welcome but priority will be give to those who have pre-paid.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is plenty of off-street parking. After you turn into 1414 E Thousand Oaks Blvd., continue up the driveway. You will pass Blank Canvas on the left which is the gallery immediately adjacent to Four Friends Gallery. Continue up the driveway where you wil find plenty of parking spaces.

This show is a joint effort between the Four Friends Gallery, owned by Larry Janss, and Steve Brogden’s Brogden Bay Presents. Larry has been a decades-long supporter of arts and culture in Southern California. You may remember Steve for the three music series he hosted at Thousand Oaks Library for the eight years prior to his retirement as library director in 2014.
